The converter features easy connectivity for GARMIN GPS units to newer PCs that do not have serial ports and will support transfer rates from 1200 to 115.2 baud.The 1.8 m cable has a USB plug on one end (to connect to the PC) and a serial connector on other (to accept the serial plug on the cable from the GPS unit).

Does not provide direct connection between GPS and PC.For use with the eMap or eTrex series, either the eMap/eTrex PC Interface Cable or eMap/eTrex Combination Cable is also required. Other units require the PC Interface Cable or PC Combination Cable to connect the GPS to the Converter Cable.Ships with floppy disk containing USB Device Drivers (Windows 98/ME and 2000) and Installation Guide.
